Mrs. Margaret Morris Evans

Mrs. Margaret Morris Evans, age 81, of Gasburg, died on Thursday October 31, 2024. She was the widow of James Vernon “Jimmy” Evans. Mrs. Evans is survived by her son, Michael Evans and his wife Kelly of Norlina, NC; her three brothers: Kelly Morris of Bracey, Carlton Morris of Bracey and Andy Morris of Ebony; her sister, Ruth M. Moseley of Ebony; her six grandchildren: Taylor Evans, Savannah Evans, Amanda Evans, Madison Arthur, Kendall Collier and Connor Evans and her many loving great-grandchildren. Mrs. Evans was preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey Evans. A funeral service will be conducted on Sunday November 3rd, at 2:00 P.M. in Prospect United Methodist Church, Ebony, with interment to follow in Prospect Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until service time in the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Prospect Cemetery Association at P.O. Box 29, Ebony, VA 23845 or to the Ebony Volunteer Fire Department at 497 Robinson Ferry Road, Ebony, VA 23845. Online condolences may be made through our website, www.crowderhitecrews.com.
