  1. Superintendent (Mecklenburg County Public Schools)

To Bobbie, Claire, Dakota, Eric, Jennifer, Jade, Martha, Tim, Ray, Kathi, Bobby, and Toni – my sincere condolences, and on behalf of the former students and staff of Park View High School – our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of sadness.

One comforting thought for you to hold on to, is that Johnny will be alive and loved as long as those of us keep him in our memories. …and that will be for a long time as he touched so many former students and athletes lives during his time on this earth. Those memories and experiences have shaped so many young people and created a path for potential – which they will share with those that they will influence during their lifetime.

    Bless you all!

    -Scott Worner-

My heart goes out to you and your family as you go through this journey without Johnny. You know he will always be with you and your family. He will also live on with each and everyone he has inspired. My deepest condolences to you Bobbie and your entire family.

Very sorry to hear of Johnny’s passing. We were together at Forbush High School for only 2 years but I always liked Johnny. I can’t recall when I last saw him but I have some really fond memories. I am sure Johnny was a great teacher and coach and had a real positive influence in many young peoples lives. I am sure your family is very proud. You all will be in my prayers.
