Mr. Glenn Richard Hick, age 79, of Bracey, died Saturday November 2, 2024 at McGuire’s Veterans Medical Center in Richmond. He was a Marine Vietnam veteran and a H-VACR Mechanic. Glenn is survived by his wife of 60 years, Maureen Hick of Bracey; his daughter, Michelle H. Oxley (Matthew) of Lakeland, FL; his son, Glenn Hick, Jr. of Forked River, NJ ;his 7 grandchildren, Katelynn, Lauryn, Briann, Kyle, Alyssa, Brandon, and Jadyn. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Edna Hick. A funeral service will be held Thursday November 7, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home with internment to follow in Crestview Memorial Park with American Legion Post #79 Military Honors. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 12:30 until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Boulevard, Staten Island, NY 10306 or Emmanuel Worship Center, 318 Charlotte Ave, La Crosse, VA 23950.
