Mr. Robert Goodlow Floyd, age 89 of White Plains, VA died, Monday, February 24, 2025 in Lawrenceville Health and Rehab.He was a former Loom Mechanic for Brodnax Mills, a United States Air Force Veteran and the companion of the late Blanche Marie Langley. Robert is survived by his brother, Carter V. Floyd (Nita) of Lawrenceville, a sister-in-law Pat Floyd of Burleson, TX, a step sister Linda Foster of Roanoke Rapids, NC, his extended family; Herman Burnette of Warrenton, NC, General Lee Burnette (Brenda) of Henrico, NC, Robbie Mueller (Joshua) of White Plains, five grandchildren and one great grandchild, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and great great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by four sisters; Catherine Britton, Sally Gee, Rachael Carroll and Ima Newsome, four brothers; Leslie , Roy, Charles and James Floyd and two step-sisters; Lula Britton and Thelma Williams. A funeral service will be conducted Friday, February 28, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. in Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home with interment in Crestview Memorial Park with American Legion Post #79 military honors. The family will receive friends an hour and a half prior to the service starting at. 12:30 P.M. The family suggest memorial contributions in Robert’s name be made to the Ruth Memorial Chapel, P. O.
