Rebecca Cumbia Floyd

Rebecca Cumbia Floyd, age 74 of Brodnax, the daughter of the late Robert Ivan Jr. and Frances Spence Cumbia, died Sunday, March 9, 2025 in Southside Regional Medical Center, Petersburg. She was the owner/operator of Becky’s Canine Clip and Dip in Brodnax for over thirty-five years, retired from the Virginia Department of Corrections with over twenty years of service, volunteered with Fire and Rescue for over twenty plus years, and was the widow of Edward Earl Floyd.
She is survived by many loving and caring foster children. A special thanks to Shelly, Deana, Tara and James. She was predeceased by a brother David George Cumbia
A graveside funeral service will be conducted Sunday, March 16, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. in Oakwood Cemetery, South Hill.
