Bobby R. Coleman, 70, of Bracey, Virginia, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 23, 2025. Bobby lived a full and joyful life, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and faith.
Bobby is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Brenda Coleman, his two daughters, Christina Blankenship and spouse Darrell of Newcastle, Va, Celena Hale and spouse Robert of Paint Bank, Va. One sister Debbie Pritt and spouse Ray of Morristown, Tenn. A stepson Brian Mitchell and stepdaughter Michelle Mitchell both residing in NC. Bobby was a proud grandfather to six grandchildren and a doting great-grandfather to ten great-grandchildren, all of whom he cherished deeply. A man of the outdoors, Bobby found peace hunting in the Jefferson National Forest, boating and fishing on Lake Gaston, and riding around his neighborhood in his golf cart. Known for his warm smile and wonderful sense of humor, he greeted everyone he met with kindness and a spark of joy, making friends wherever he went. Bobby’s family will have a celebration of life visitation on Wednesday, 3/26 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, in Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home and Crematory. A graveside funeral service will be held on Friday March 28th at 11:00 A.M. in Greenhill Memory Garden located in Cedar Bluff, Virginia. In lieu of flowers, they request donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in memory of Bobby Coleman, a cause Bobby held dear for its mission to help children in need.
