  1. Remembering Jean

My heartfelt condolences to you Donnie and the rest of Jean’s family. May she rest in peace. I sit here reflecting on all the things that she must have seen in her 97 years. Jean was one of our neighbors on Read Street from the time I was born. Once I broke a figurine of my mother’s when Jean was babysitting me and I begged her to glue it back together…she did! She was kind like that. Growing up on that block was like having extended family, everyone looked out for each other.
