Obituary:

Mrs. Ruth Clary Walker, age 97, of La Crosse, died on Thursday June 19, 2025. She was a retired food service worker and the widow of Leonard Walker. Mrs. Walker is survived by her daughter, Deborah Parham of Kenbridge (Edward); her four grandsons: Kenneth Parham (Linda), Jason Hill (Kelli), Jeff Hill (Kelly) and Josh Hill (Kristie); her son-in-law, Charles Hill and her many loving great-grandchildren. Mrs. Walker was preceded in death by her two daughters: Elizabeth Ann Walker and Cathy Hill; her three sisters: Pearl, Margaret and Lucille and her three brothers: Sheldon, Monroe and George. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Monday June 30, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. in La Crosse Baptist Church. The family will receive friends in the church from 10:00 until time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the La Crosse Baptist Church at P.O. Box 40, La Crosse, VA 23950. Online condolences may be made through our website at www.crowderhitecrews.com.   1. God definitely gained another angel when he called Ruth Walker home. May God be with each member of her family in the months ahead without her. She was a great Christian lady. Lots of love from my home to yours.

  2. So sorry for your loss. She was truly a great lady. She is back with her daughter , sisters and Toby. They are singing and dancing with the other angles. Prayers for her family.
