Obituary:

Mr. William Kirk "Sam" Jones, Sr., age 66 of Forksville, died Saturday, July 5, 2025 at his residence. He was a former service provider for Lincare Home Respiratory Care services and a United States Army veteran.
William is survived by two sons; William Kirk Jones, Jr and wife Jennifer of Oberlin, Ohio and Paul J. “P.J.” Winstead and wife Melanie of Byrdstown, TN, two sisters; Odell Harris and husband Carl of Winterville, NC and Susan Michael and husband Mike of Baskerville, two brothers; Jimmie Jones and wife Alice of La Crosse and Kevin P. Whitby and wife Marsha of Blackstone, nine grandchildren; Levi Jones, Natalie Jones, Emilia Jones, Kiley Stanley, Jayce Stanley, Brayden Hall , Sean Bonthron, Catlyn Gist and Darby Fentner. He was predeceased by his parents Arthur and Margaret Whitby, two sisters and a brother, Judy, Debbie and Thomas.
