Mrs. Betty Snead Farrar

Mrs. Betty Snead Farrar, age 77 of Kenbridge, VA, died Tuesday, July 22, 2025 in Heritage Hall in Blackstone. She was an Instructional Assistant for Lunenburg Co. Public Schools. Betty is survived by her husband Joe D. “Buddy” Farrar, Jr. and sons John Franklin Arthur, Dowell Farrar and Kelly Farrar and two sisters; Ann Snead Poole and Nancy Snead Chappell also several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Llewellyn Landon Snead, Jr and Hazel Thomas Snead and a brother Llewellyn L. Snead III.
A graveside funeral service will be conducted Friday, July 25, 2025 at 11:00 A. M. in Oakwood Cemetery in South Hill. The family suggest memorial contributions to the Lunenburg Health Services, P. O. Box 121, Victoria, VA.23974 or the Southside Adult Home (Farmville) c/o Southside Baptist Association, P. O.
