Mary Lenhart Queen

Mrs. Mary Lenhart Queen, age 101 and 8 months, of Baskerville, died Saturday, November 22, 2025. She is survived by her daughter, Cindy "Lu" Crews (Dave) of Bracey; two grandchildren, David Crews, Jr. and Shannon Parker-Crews (Alyson); and three great-grandchildren, Lyndsay Crews (Kristian), Trey Crews (Lexi), and Nico Parker-Crews; and a great-great grandchild on the way, Everett Lawrence Crews, who is expected December 4. Also surviving are her close friends Katherine Proffitt and Esther Elam; as well as her special sitters, Mary Duncan, Emily Jennings, Ashleigh Nichols, Nancy Mooney, and Kathy Lynn.
Mrs. Queen was the widow of her loving husband Dewey “Bill” W. Queen, who passed away May 10, 2010. She was the last of 9 siblings and their spouses and the co-owner of Queen and Queen Inc. Mary loved her husband, family, and her faith. She would say both the Lord’s Prayer and 23rd Psalm daily with her sitters and with her preacher, Ronnie Campbell. She was a faithful member of Bethany Baptist Church. A private graveside service will, be held November 28, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. at Bethany Baptist Church. So sorry for the loss of Mrs Queen. Though I didn’t know her personally I do know Shannon and Alyson loved you dearly and will miss you greatly. Prayers for all who loved her.
