Mrs. Betty Thomas Winstead, age 74, of South Hill, passed away on Monday November 24, 2025 in her home, surrounded by her family. She was a homemaker. Betty is survived by her husband, Richard I. “Dickie” Winstead of South Hill; her three sisters: Rachel Swisher of Richmond, Joyce Tharpe of South Hill and Genelle Winstead of La Crosse. She was preceded in death by her parents, Otis and Mary Thomas and her two sisters: Connie Clary and Janice Kirby. A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday November 29th at 2:00 P.M. in Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home and Crematory with interment to follow in Canaan Cemetery. The family will receive friends starting at 1:00 P.M. until service time in the funeral home. Online condolences may be made through our website, www.crowderhitecrews.com.
