Thomas Ralph "Tommy" Young

Mr. Thomas Ralph "Tommy" Young, age 70, of South Hill died in his home Tuesday, December 2, 2025. Thomas was the son of Clyde Douglas Young and Nita Flippen Young. Mr. Young worked as a corrections officer until his retirement.
Thomas leaves behind his sons, Thomas Lee Young (Heather) and Steven Matthew Young (Sarah), his grandchildren Jason, Caroline, Zack, Victoria, Samuel and Sean, and a great grandchild, Bayla. Thomas also leaves his siblings, Charles Young, Barbara Gill and Bettie Duckworth. He was predeceased by a sister-in-law Betty Young and his two brothers-in-law Frank Gill and Charles Duckworth.
A memorial service honoring the life of Mr. Thomas Ralph Young will be held at a later date. Service information will be posted on our website once made available.
