Obituary:

Mrs. Nan Ellen Spence Finch, age 94, of Brodnax, passed away on Wednesday December 3, 2025 with her family by her side. She was a nurse at Community Memorial Hospital for 30 years and the widow of James Monroe Finch. Mrs. Finch is survived by her son, Larry Finch; her daughter, Peggy F. Kinker and her husband Jerry of South Hill; her grandson, David Ryan Kinker and his wife Stephanie; her great grandson: Ryley James Kinker and great- granddaughter Marissa Church; her brother Darrel Spence and wife Frances. She was preceded in death by her brothers: Page Spence (Gladys), Wilbur Spence (Geraldine) and Sisters: Nelda Evans, Susie Marston (Jerry). A graveside funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday December 9th at 11:00 A.M. in Crestview Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Volunteers for Christ at P.O. Box 929, South Hill, VA 23970 or to the American Heart Association at 4217 Park Place Court, Glen Alen, VA 23060. Online condolences may be made through our website, www.crowderhitecrews.com.
