Obituary:

Mr. Raymond Linwood “R.L.” Brooks, age 50, of La Crosse, passed away on Tuesday December 2, 2025. R.L. was a manager for Alltel/AT&T and he also was an employee on Newmart Buildings. R.L. is survived by his wife, Angela “Alli” Brooks of La Crosse; his son, T.J. Wallace Brooks and his wife Mindy of Clayton, NC; his three daughters: Lexy Brooks and her fiance’ Matt McDade of La Crosse, Claudia Brooks of La Crosse and Emma Jo Brooks of La Crosse; his two grandchildren: Ezekiel Wallace and Covee Wallace; his brother, Johnny Ashworth and his wife Beth of South Hill; his niece, Ashley King; his two nephews Taylor Ashworth and Cameron Ashworth; his four great-nephews and three great-nieces. A Celebration of R.L.’s Life will be held on Saturday December 6th at 4:00 P.M. in Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home and Crematory. Memorial Contributions in R.L.’s name may be made to the American Diabetes Association through their website, www.diabetes.org or to Donate Life at donatelife.net.
