Melissa Kay Tucker “Missy” Mann, 47 of Brodnax, passed away on January 7, 2026 at her home from health complications. She was predeceased by her husband Ronnie Mann; father, Ricky Tucker; grandparents, Stanley and Anna Mae Tucker, Charles and Barbara Cox, Robert and Doris Hutchins; and her first husband, Paul Wooton Jr.
Missy was previously a manager with Risin’ Smoke Restaurant where she enjoyed making great friendships with both colleagues and patrons. She also was a longtime attendee at New Hope Baptist Church in LaCrosse.
Missy is survived by her loving family of Parents, Clinton and Mary Hutchins of Chase City; six children, Amber Wooton (Jay) of LaCrosse, Kaysi Hall (Jake) of Decatur, AL, Trevor McKoin of Roanoke, Christian Mann of Boydton, Paige Wooton of Danville, and Elizabeth Mann (Bryson) of Brodnax; grandchildren, Braxton Pierce, expected baby Alice Brandon, Theo Hall, Connor Hall, Rumani McKoin, as well as second expected baby; her boyfriend, Marcus Vaught of Brodnax; brother, Lester “Buckwheat” Hutchins (Amanda) of Buffalo Junction; sister, Holly Young (Ben) of N. Dinwiddie; her mother-in-law, Lila Mann of Boydton; sisters-in law, Tonya Duffer of Bracey and Stephanie Aleman of Brodnax; special nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews; many more cousins and relatives; special friend Tammy and Richard Lewis, their children and her cherished pets.
A memorial service will be held Sunday January 11, 2026 at 2 P.M in New Hope Baptist Church in LaCrosse, with inurnment following at Woodland Cemetery in Chase City.

Melissa was a sweet person. Whenever you saw Melissa she had a smile on her face. She was a great mother to her children. And Melissa had a kind heart.And where ever you saw her she was going to stop and talk to you. I tbroke my heart yesterday to hear about her passing away. My deepest condolences go out to the family. She was a very nice person to be around. I will never forget the days of working at Brian’s steakhouse with her and her daughters. She was always happy and her smile would make your day when you were greeted by her. She will be missed . There will be great memories left behind of her.
