Obituary:

Mr. Robert Allen Hoover, age 58, of Pleasant Garden, North Carolina, passed away on Saturday May 2, 2026 in his home. He was a land surveyor for BWA Engineering. Robert is survived by his wife of 40 years, Sherry L. Hoover of Pleasant Garden, North Carolina; his two daughters: Kristin Nicole Wood and her spouse, Kara of Summerfield, North Carolina and Ashley Lauren Hoover and her spouse, Osiel Benitez of Summerfield, North Carolina; his three grandchildren: Ayden Thomas Benitez, Amelia Grace Benitez and Anderson Allen Benitez; his Mother, Eleanor Hoover of Greensboro, North Carolina and his niece, Morgan Tucker. Robert was preceded in death by his father, Hal T. “Jay” Hoover and his brother, Hal Thomas “Tommy” Hoover, Jr. A funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday May 6th at 1:00 P.M. in Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home and Crematory with interment to follow in the Hite Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends starting at 12 noon until service time in the funeral home. Online condolences may be made through our website, www.crowderhitecrews.com.     I have loved this sweet soul since I first met him in the third grade! He always had the most beautiful smile and so much love in his heart and was always so kind and happy. He will be greatly missed!! We celebrate your life and we must see you again one day, my friend.
