Obituary:

Mr. Lewis Martin Robinson, age 64, passed away leaving behind a legacy of love, resilience and a quiet strength that will be remembered by all that knew him. Born to Earl and Norman Robinson, Martin lived a life rooted in dedication to both his family and his community. He was the proud owner and operator of his own construction company, where he built not only structures, but lasting relationships with those he worked alongside. Known for his generosity, Martin was always ready to lend a helping hand no matter the situation. Martin is survived by his wife Terry, and his daughters, Nicole Dugger (Palmer) and Erin James (Brian). He was a proud and loving grandfather, affectionately known as “GO” to Carson, Oaklen and Axton Dugger, who brought him immense joy. His brother, Charles Hill and Nancy Carey, his mother-in-law. He had a deep love for fishing and found peace on the water. Martin enjoyed traveling, meeting new people and sharing stories wherever he went. Even during his declining health, he remained a source of strength and optimism, always carrying a positive outlook that inspired those around him. Martin will be remembered for his warm heart, his generosity and the countless ways he made a difference in the lives of others. A funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday May 6th at 4:00 P.M. in Bethany Baptist Church with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends starting at 3:00 P.M. until service time in the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Bethany Baptist Church at P.O. Box 119, Baskerville, VA 23915 or to the LCSPCA at 11764, Highway 15, Clarksville VA. Online condolences may be made through our website, www.crowderhitecrews.com.     I am so saddened to hear this about Martin. He was so fun loving and kind when I would see him and talk with him. My sincere condolences to Terry, Nicole, Erin and Mrs Carey. I know he will be missed by all who knew and loved him. May you find peace and comfort in the coming days.
