Lee Roy,
I am at a loss without you. I catch myself wanting to text or call you daily as I did so often. I will always remember you as a close and dear friend. I cherish the great times we all spent together. Looking back, I guess we spent 45 years together …I wanted more but it was time to go home. I’m sure Carole welcomed you with open arms. Together forever. It was a honor and pleasure. Thank you for the gift of friendship.

I taught Lee Roy in Sunday School. He was such a sweet boy and got saved in my class. I know where he is and the angels are rejoicing. I loved him and he will always be remembered.
I can’t speak for Lee Roy but I considered the two of us close friends, which aren’t easy to come by. I really don’t know what else to say except that I’m sorry and I’m here if there’s anything you need.
