Mrs. April Simmons Gauldin

Mrs. April Simmons Gauldin, age 46, of Brodnax, died Thursday, October 25. 2018 at her residence. She was the manager of the former Arnold’s Diner in South Hill. Mrs. Gauldin is survived by her husband Walter Scott Gauldin, two daughters; Amber Dawn Allgood of Gasburg, Va. and Kayla Leigh Gauldin of Brodnax, a son Jeremy Ryan Allgood of Brodnax, her mother Marjorie P. Newton of South Hill, father Sammy Simmons of Brodnax, two sisters; Tammy McDaniel of La Crosse and Angela Ray of Norlina, three brothers; Sammy Simmons, Jr. of La Crosse, Tim Simmons and Matt Simmons both of South Hill, two granddaughters and one grandson.
A service will be conducted Monday, October 29, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at her residence, 3382 Brown’s Creek Rd., Brodnax, Va. The family suggest memorial contributions to be made to Rock United Methodist Church, 75 Rock Church Road, Lawrenceville, Va. 23868.
