Obituary:

Mrs. Cindy Young “Tootie” Parrish, age 58, of South Hill, died Thursday January 2, 2020. She was a retired print designer for the South Hill Enterprise. “Tootie” is survived by her husband, Eric Blackburn of South Hill; her two sons: Matthew Parrish (Casey) and Zachary Blackburn both of South Hill; her niece, Jennifer Beale and two nephews: Brian Beale and Heath Beale; her great-niece, Madison Thomas and great-nephew Hunter Lewis and her beloved pet dog, Belle. “Tootie” was preceded in death by her first husband, Wilbur Parrish; her sister, Patricia Beale and her parents, Bud and Goodie Young. A celebration of life service will take place on Tuesday January 7th at 7:00 P.M. in New Hope Baptist Church with the family receiving friends in the church following the service.
