Obituary:

Mrs. JoAnne Ashworth Robinson, age 82, of Baskerville, died on Tuesday June 16, 2020 in her home. She was a former church secretary for Ebenezer Baptist Church and the widow of Clyde Robinson. Mrs. Robinson is survived by her two sisters: Agnes W. Bristow of Shackleford, VA and Iva Lou Puryear of Clarksville, VA and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Robinson was preceded in death by her son, Greg Robinson. A private burial will take place at a later date in Alabama.     Joanne and I played together and she and her sisters and myself used to walk to school together. We had
    been lifelong friends. Even though she lived nearby I had not seen her for a few years. No doubt she is in
    a better place. May God be with you Agnes and Iva Lou. She is rejoicing with all the rest of her family who
    has gone before. Lots of love to her family . May God be with each of you in the months ahead without her.
