Obituary:

Mr. William Bernard Perkins, age 80, of South Hill, died on Monday, September 28, 2020 at his home. He was a life member of the Kenbridge Volunteer Fire Department. Mr. Perkins is survived by his wife, Marie T. Perkins of South Hill. A graveside funeral service will be conducted on Thursday October 1st at 2:00 P.M. in the Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery in Baskerville.     Our deepest sympathy to the family of Bernard Perkins. He was a long time member of the Kenbridge Fire Department who loved to drive and operate one of the pumpers. When I was in high school I worked part time with him at his brothers service station in Kenbridge we had a lot of fun but worked hard as well.
