Obituary:

Mr. Paul F. Colbert, age 77, of Littleton, NC, died on Friday, November 20, 2020 in his home. He was a very skilled handyman with anything involving carpentry, plumbing or electrical, an avid boater, an United States Army Veteran and the widower of Doris Brown Colbert. Mr. Colbert is survived by his two sons: Jason Paul Colbert of Littleton, NC and Steven Paul Colbert of Littleton, NC; his two daughters: Ann Burnette of Warrenton, NC (Benjamin Freuler) and Mildred Pruett of White Plains, VA (Michael); his four grandchildren: Nathan Colbert, Zachary Colbert, Amy Burnette and Jeremy Burnette and his two brothers: Michael Colbert of Florida and John Colbert of New Hampshire. Mr. Colbert was preceded in death by his grandson, Dylan Colbert. A graveside funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday November 24th at 2:00 P.M. in Prospect Cemetery in Ebony, VA. with full American Legion Post 79 Military Honors. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 7:00 until 8:30 in Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home and Crematory. Online condolences may be sent through our website, www.crowderhitecrews.com.   1. Gonna miss that guy. It’s been almost 40 years since your Dad and Buddy built the first boat ramp. Wow wow how the Lake has changed. Heartfelt Sympathy for the loss of a Good Man. His Soul will Always hang around this place. We’ll miss him.
