Mrs. Nancy Jolly Burton

Obituary:

Mrs. Nancy Jolly Burton, age 73 of Brodnax, died Sunday, January 10, 2021 at her residence. Nancy was the daughter of William C. Jolly and Maude Ozmar Jolly. She was a customer service clerk at several convenience stores and the widow of Jessie Burton, Jr. Mrs. Burton is survived by two sons; Stan Harris (Marie) of Roanoke Rapids, NC and Keith Harris (Leah) of Brodnax, a daughter Amy Burton (Steven) of Lawrenceville and seven grandchildren; Anthony, Haley, Julie, Megan, Chelsea, Isiah and Serenity.
A funeral service will be conducted Thursday, January 14, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home with interment in Oakwood Cemetery, South Hill. The family will receive friends on Thursday, one hour prior to the service. Online condolences may be sent through our website, www.crowderhitecrews.com.     To all the family of Nancy Jolly Burton. I’m so sorry to hear of your wife, mother, aunt, cousin, friend’s passing. We lived near her when I was in school at Sunnyside McKenney School. Her family lived not far away from us. I spent nights with her and herfamy occasio ally. She She was a sweet young lady then and I’m Sure she still was. Now she is resting in the arms of our Lord & Saviour Jesus Christ.
