Jean was one of those special people in your life that you are a better person because of her.
I was drawn to her sweet and tender spirit the very first time I saw her in church.
My friendship with Jean was a forever friendship.
My love and sadness of the loss of Jean goes to the family.
I am grateful God put her in my life even though it was just for a short while.
She once told a lesson to the ladies at a shelter and had me find the music to go with it.
It was Bullfrogs and Butterflies! Her face lit up when the song was found and we all sang it!
I will miss Jean, but look forward to meeting up with her in heaven one day.
Love and comfort to all family !

I am so sorry about the passing of Jean. It was many years ago that her & I worked together at the Old Revco Drug. Jean was the sweetest and most dear friend. We last crossed paths at the Christmas show in Richmond 2019. God bless you all with comfort & peace! My prayers and much love to you all. Sincere sympathy,
Karen Harris

My Grandma Jean
Grandma Jean was the sweetest lady i had ever met in my life. She was truly my saving grace when it came to hard times. I will never forget before she left for Virginia when she held me and told me everything would be ok. She was a woman of many miracles and memories. The good, bad, and hard times. She was always there. I will always love you grandma. Always.

Sweet Mrs. Jean was a treasure to me! We were 50 years apart in age and yet it didn’t matter because she was my precious friend and she loved the Lord. We were in the same BIble study fellowship group in Wichita Falls and we would always visit there and always stayed in touch. She would always be praying for me and my husband and I’d ask how Jake was. I knew when she said she’s be praying for me that she really was. We later learned we lived just down the road from one another in Dean, Texas! I pass by her house nearly everyday and miss her and think of her precious, joyful, and caring personality. She was just darling. What an impact she made in my life and I really loved sweet Mrs. Jean and her passion to love the Lord with all of her soul. I know she is rejoicing in Glory! It was a blessing that the Lord crossed our paths and I’ll forever treasure my phone calls with her, picking her up while we rode together to a women’s church conference, meeting her dear family, them coming to my Dad’s horse barn, and just knowing she loved me! I love you my sweet friend and thankful for you! So sorry and praying for her family members that are grieving her loss. I know the Lord will comfort you in the days to come. Much love, Rachel.
My husband Leland, who would mow their grass and also thought she was so sweet, also sends his condolences.
Words cannot express the sorrow I feel knowing the loss of Miss Jean. She was my teacher and valued friend. It is my prayer that GOD will comfort her family and friends as only HE can. I Love You Michelle. Rest In Heavenly Peace Miss Jean.
Sweet, Sweet Spirit
Jean was one of the sweetest people I have ever known. And I mean that in the best possible way. She was the first grade teacher to three of our five children while we were in La Crosse and was far and away the favorite of them all. It was my privilege to be her pastor at La Crosse Methodist Church where she was one of the brightest lights in the congregation. As anyone who knew her at all would surely know, she is now happily at home with the Lord. But she leaves a big empty place here where her sweet smile used to be.
