Obituary:

Mr. Thomas Scott Bennett, age 50, of South Hill, died on Thursday October 7, 2021. He was a graduate of Park View High School, class of 1989. Scott is survived by his father, Tommy Bennett of Chesapeake, VA; his mother and step-father, Elizabeth Webb and Jim McGill of South Hill, VA; his son, Blaise Bennett of Charlotte, NC; his brother, Larry Broach of Chesapeake, VA and his sister, Cynthia Haines of Florida. Scott was preceded in death by his step-mother, Nora Lee Bennett. The family will receive friends on Sunday October 10th from 2:00 until 3:30 P.M. in Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home and Crematory.   1. My heart is broken for you Tommy. Two deaths so close
    together is a terrible burden to have to bear. I pray that
    God will be with you and watch over you in the months ahead without these two members of your family. Lots of love to your home from mine.

  2. Libby &.Tommy and family, we are so sad to lean of Scotts passing. We will forever be so thankful for y’all when Keri was a toddler! Many many days when I arrived to pick her up Scott was outside playing with the kids. Prayers of peace for all of you. Sharon, Alvin and Keri
