I only knew Stephen as a child when I babysat him and his sisters Leslie and “Little Evie” as we called her. I am his dad’s cousin. We had great times at his Grandma and Grandpa Camp’s home. A summer I will always remember and cherish always.
My deepest sympathies Marie to you and your family. My husband and I are truly sorry for your loss of someone so dear as Stephen.
We ask God to enfold you in His faithful love and comfort you with the cherished memories you hold dear.

    Mrs. Camp,
I offer heartfelt condolences on the loss of your husband. Although I never met him, I can tell the kind of man he was based on all of the precious sentiments written about him. I will continue to lift you and your family up in prayer.

I was the flower girl at Stephen and Marie’s wedding. I remember how special he made me feel and still love to this day the picture of him holding just me! Then came my wedding in 1999 and I treasure the pictures of my father David Camp, my Uncle Walter, my Uncle Don, and Stephen sharing hugs and big belly laughs! I will miss you dear cousin. Give everyone in Heaven a kiss for me.

  5. My deepest condolences to the Camp family. Steve was a thoughtful, generous, and gentle man. I am honored to have spent time with him. Let Steve’s memories comfort you. Please know we are here for you.

  6. Volvo Penta co-worker
I worked with Steve for many years at Volvo Penta. He was smart and always trying to improve things. He always helped me with whatever I asked him to do. We shared vintage car stories and great laughs. Prayers to the family for peace and comfort. My deepest sympathy, Cindy

  8. Cousin

Steve was always such a good sport. When we would get together at grandmas he was always tasked with entertaining us . We played army guys for hours. Steve was ALWAYS so much fun and he always had a joke or a goffy saying. He had an huge laugh and an enormous heart. I will alway cherish the love his gave me as a kid . I love you Steve.

  9. Cousin

I have so many Steve stories. Even though distances and time separated us we found a way to be there for the big meaningful things in life, like our weddings, his retirement and the wedding of his son. In fact, some of my favorite memories were when he would share his family with me.

Steve was a man of few words, but he loved a good joke and had a big laugh. I know he will be watching over you especially as you welcome Carter Michael to the family.

Prayers and love across the miles. And Steve, you still aren’t the boss of me but I can not wait to see you in the presence of God’s glory some day.
