Obituary:

Mrs. Mable Kendrick Kirby age 76, of La Crosse, died Monday, April 25, 2022 in the Hundley Center, South Hill. She was a self-employed caregiver and the widow of William Malcolm Kirby. Mable is survived by a son Randy Upton of Stoney Creek; a brother, Richard C. Kendrick , Jr. of Victoria; a daughter, Tammie Davis of Bracey; three granddaughters: Victoria Upton of Stoney Creek, Stephanie Clark and Reba Davis; two grandsons: Andy Upton of Biggs, California and Stephen Davis of Boydton and three great granddaughter: Luna Upton, Amber Davis and Aliyah Davis.   1. I am so sorry to hear this. I just loved Mabel. Many times I drove Mama over to her place on the back side of Kenbridge. Y’all are in my prayers. Please let me know if there will be any services.

  2. My condolences to the.family. I am so sorry for your loss. Mabel and I were close growing up. We kinda grew up and went out own ways but Mabel was like my best friend as well as cousins. I will miss you Mabel. I was going to see her soon but it goes to show don’t put off for tomorrow what we can do today. Again to the family,. I send you hugs.
