  1. Earl is my good friend, my driving instructor, and my Master Yoda as I continue to instruct those things he passed on to me. A true legend in every sense of the word. You will be missed.

  2. Friend

First meet Earl when he was a Range Master at the VANG and then again when he came to work for CPD as a Firearms Instructor. Always willing to help you out, with great advice and a sense of humor. RIP Earl, “Semper Fi” Brother

  3. Warmest of thoughts

You have our deepest sympathy on the passing of a wonderful person who served country and community. Earl was a member of our Marine Corps League and we exchanged recent memories at yesterday’s meeting from those that knew him best. He had a strong patriotism and was an inspiration to many. Our Detachment Chaplain rang a bell in Earl’s honor which will continue at every monthly meeting for one year. RIP Earl!

  4. Chesterfield County Police, Retired

In Memory of a dedicated law enforcement officer, friend and mentor. Blessed to have known Earl who set the bar high in all three attributes…Amen

  5. Richmond Police Cadet

I first met Earl when I was a police cadet with Richmond P.D. in 1970. I left Richmond P.D. in 1975 but reconnected with him later with Chesterfield P.D. when he became a firearm instructor. Earl was a great officer and a great man and I feel privileged to not only work with him but to know him as well. RIP Earl
