Mrs. Betty Hale Glasscock

Mrs. Betty Hale Glasscock, age 88, of Brodnax, died on Saturday, September 10, 2022 peacefully in her home. She was a retired employee of Virginia Quilting and the widow of R. Howard Glasscock. Mrs. Glasscock is survived by her two sons: Jerry S. Glasscock of La Crosse and Garry H. Glasscock and his wife Susan of Phoenix, Arizona; her daughter, Sherry G. Reese and her husband Allen of Brodnax; her sister, Patricia Morris of La Crosse and her grandson, Matthew Glasscock of Saxe, VA. Mrs. Glasscock was preceded in death by her grandson, Ryan Richard Glasscock and her daughter-in-law, Cynthia Dale Glasscock. A graveside funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday September 13th at 2:00 in La Crosse Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until service time in Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home and Crematory. Memorial contributions in Mrs. Glasscock’s name may be made to the Alzheimers Association at 225 N. Michigan Avenue, Floor 17, Chicago, IL 60601 or through their website, www.alz.org.
