Obituary:

Mrs. Dorothy Oliver Edmonds, age 79, of Roanoke Rapids, NC, passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2022 in ECU Health North Hospital in Roanoke Rapids, NC. She was an employee of the former La Crosse Sportswear, a supervisor at Roxobel Garment Co. in Roxobel, N.C. and the co-owner/operator of Dixie Screen Printing in Roanoke Rapids, NC and the widow of Roy Rogers Edmonds.
Dorothy is survived by her daughter Esther E. Mogensen of Roanoke Rapids, a granddaughter Hunter Carol Mogensen of Fayetteville, NC, a grandson Christian Douglass Mogensen II (Dale) of Zebulon, NC, two great grandsons Caiden Blayne and Mallory Douglass Mogensen both of Zebulon, NC, three sisters; Estelle O. Brown of South Hill, Bernice O. Cook of Buckingham Court House, and Grace O. Carter of Chesterfield and many nieces and nephews she thought so much of.
A funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, September 20, 2022 in Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home at 2:00 P.M. with interment in Oakwood Cemetery, South Hill. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 12:30 P.M. until the hour of service at the funeral home. The family request memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society’s “Relay for Life” chapter of your choice.
