Mr. Ronald Wayne "Ronnie" Tanner

Mr. Ronald Wayne “Ronnie” Tanner, age 72, of Alberta, died on Monday September 26, 2022 in his home surrounded by his family. He was a retired truck driver. Ronnie is survived by his wife, Delores E. Tanner of Alberta; his daughter, Tiffany T. Wilson and her husband Jonathan of Chesterfield; his grandson, Wake Maverick Wilson; his sister, Mary T. Watson and her husband James Howard Watson, Jr. of Lady Lake, Florida; his brother, Bobby W. Tanner and his wife Sherry B. Tanner of South Hill; his sister-in-law, Wanda H. Tanner of South Hill and his many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-great-nephews and great-great niece. Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, William Herman Tanner, Sr. and Mary Carroll Tanner and his brother, William H. “Rooster” Tanner, Jr. A funeral service will be conducted on Thursday September 29th at 2:00 P.M. in Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home and Crematory with interment to follow in Canaan Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:30 in the funeral home. Online condolences may be made through our website, www.crowderhitecrews.com. Ronnie was a well thought of in Blackridge. We all grew up together until we all went our separate ways.Always was a big heart of gold.
