Shirley Tanner Lundy

Mrs. Shirley Tanner Lundy, age 86 of Brodnax, VA died Saturday, January 21, 2023 in VCU/Community Memorial Hospital surrounded by her family. Shirley is predeceased by her husband Moses T. Lundy and her son Michael T. Lundy. She was a retired seamstress with the former La Crosse Sportswear, and a Honorary member of the Ladies Auxiliary for the Brodnax Volunteer Fire Department.
Shirley is survived by her daughter Wanda Lambert of Cherokee, NC, a sister Frances Roseberry (Ray) of Grayson, KY, three granddaughters: Angela L. Wells (Russ) of South Hill, Alicia Lambert and Monica Lambert both of Cherokee, NC, five great-grandchildren: Skyler Wells, Colby Wells, Alexis Lambert, Gavin Lambert, and Presley Lambert. If you knew Shirley you knew her house was always open for a warm meal and fellowship.
A funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at 12:00 Noon in Sanford Memorial Baptist Church, Brodnax, VA with interment in Crestview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends also on Tuesday, January 24th from 11:00 A.M. until the service begins. Memorial contributions in Shirley’s name may be made to the Sanford Memorial Baptist Church, P. O. Box 361, Brodnax, VA 23920
