Obituary:

Mr. Richard Stanley Tucker, age 67, of Chase City, died on Tuesday, January 24, 2023. He was a retired heavy equipment operator for J.A. Barker Construction Company of South Hill, Va. Mr. Tucker is survived by his daughter, Melissa T. Mann of Brodnax; his six grandchildren: Amber Pierce, Kaysi Wooton, Paige Wooton, Trevor McKoin, Christian Mann and Elizabeth Mann; his two great-grandsons: Braxton Pierce and Theo Hall; his two sisters: Peggy Lipscomb of Chase City and Nancy Tucker of Chase City and his best friend and fishing buddy, Jeff Towery. Mr. Tucker was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Anna Tucker and his son-in-law, Ronnie Mann. The family will receive friends on Sunday January 29th from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. in Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home and Crematory.
