Obituary:

Mr. Lewis Ellis Daniel, age 83 of Richmond, VA passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at his residence. .He was a graduate of Varina High School, a United States Army veteran and a Refrigeration and Air Condition Technician. Ellis is survived by two sons; Joel Christopher Daniel and wife Liz of Blackburg, VA and Jason Daniel of Richmond, one daughter Lauren Daniel (Allen Richardson) also of Richmond, a granddaughter Emily Daniel of King William and a sister Dawn Jones and husband Buddy of Providence Forge. A graveside funeral service will be conducted Saturday, March 18, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. in Crestview Memorial Park, near South Hill, VA. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.     My brother I think about you all the time, the good times growing up. Even when I did not see you very often you were and are always in my heart. I miss you brother. I love you always. Till we meet again RIP. Until then I will keep you in my prayers.
    Love transcends time and I will never forget you or stop loving you till I draw my last breath.

    My heartfelt condolences, to Ellis’ immediate family. He very much reminds me of his father, in the given photo, my uncle Emmitt.
    I remember spending time with uncle Emitt and his wife Annie( we called her auntie!) and would go see them when ever we could. I did not grow up knowing Ellis, but heard his name often, spoken about in our family circles. I know he was loved by his family, and I wish him mercies in Jesus’s arms, many hugs ,
