Mrs. Ruby Richstien Stamper

Obituary:

Mrs. Ruby Richstien Stamper, age 92, of Brodnax, died on Thursday March 9, 2023 surrounded by her family. Mrs. Stamper was a retired employee of Brodnax Mills and the widow of Walter Oliver Stamper. She took great pride in being a native of Louisiana. Mrs. Stamper is survived by her daughter, Kathy S. Cole of Brodnax; her two sons: Earl Stamper of Dolphin and Randy Stamper of Alberta and her many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her great-great grandchild. A funeral service will be conducted on Monday March 13th at 11:00 A.M. in Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home and Crematory with interment to follow in Crestview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Sunday March 12th from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. in the funeral home. Online condolences may be sent through our website, www.crowderhitecrews.com.     I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Ms. Ruby, I worked with her and Kathy at Brodnax Mills. She was a sweet lady and she will be missed. Prayers of strength, guidance, and love to you and your family. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.

    Words can’t begin to express the love I have for you. You are such a special person. So many memories that I treasure with you in them. I’m so grateful that Dennis, Tracey and Seth were lucky enough to have such a loving Great Grandma. Tracey just loves you with all her heart and will deeply miss you. We will all be missing you. Love you Grandma with all ours hearts.
