Mr. Allen Clyde Parrish

Mr. Allen Clyde Parrish, age 75, of South Hill, passed away on Thursday March 9, 2023 in his home. He and his wife Patricia owned and operated Daniel Brothers Heating and Plumbing in Lawrenceville, VA from which he retired. He was a United States Army Veteran and a member of the American Legion Post 79 in South Hill. He also served on the Planning Commission of the town of South Hill. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Patricia Watson Parrish of South Hill; his two sons: Shane Parrish and his wife Heather of Midlothian, VA and Mark Parrish and his wife Alana of Cornelius, NC; his four grandsons: Carson, Andrew, Brackton and Trey. Also surviving is his sister, Sue Parrish Wright; a niece Alicia Wright Short; a nephew, Rodney Scott Vaughan and a brother-in-law, Louis O. Vaughan. Allen was preceded in death by his parents, Freeman and Florence Parrish; his sister, Peggy P. Vaughan and brother-in-law, Roy B. Wright. A funeral service will be conducted on Sunday March 12th at 2:00 P.M. in New Hope Baptist Church on Route 138 with Pastor Dan Jarrell officiating. Interment will follow in Crestview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until service time in the church. Memorial contributions in Allen’s name may be made to New Hope Baptist Church at P.O. Box 128, South Hill, VA 23970 or to VCU-CMH Hospice at P.O. Drawer 90, South Hill, VA 23970. Online condolences may be made through our website, www.crowderhitecrews.com. Friends with each Other
My wife Rose and I have known Allen and Patricia a long time and have always felt like they both are good people, and was always a friend to us. Kept hoping Allen was going to get better,but I guess God new best.

Earl and I are so sorry about Allen. He was such a great guy and lhe loved his family.
When I worked years ago he use to call on us. They needed Bixwoods to go around house. I had tons and they came down and got enough . So many years ago they are probably a good size now. Sending love and prayers to his entire sweet family.
