Mrs. Agnes Owen Thompson, age 93 of Burkeville, VA and formerly of
La Crosse, died Friday, March 31, 2023 in Hickory Hill Retirement Community, Burkeville, VA . She was a retired Production Technician for the Ashland Herald-Progress of Ashland, VA and the widow of C. V. Thompson.
Agnes is survived by her brother Milton B. Owen, Jr of Kingstown, RI and her nieces; Sandra Griffith Barker and husband Dennis of South Hill, Willie Ann Tanner and husband Tom of Kenbridge, Charlotte Webb and Kim and Jo Ann.
A funeral service will be conducted Monday, April 3, 2023 at 1:00 P. M. in Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home with interment in Crestview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home and at all other times at the home of her niece Sandra Barker, 222 Beaver Creek Drive, South Hill, Va.
