Obituary:

Mr. Steven (Stevie) Thomas Smith, age 51 of Chesapeake, Va.
entered enteral rest on Monday, April 10, 2023. He was a highly
skilled craftsman for many years. Later in life he received his CDL
license and became a truck driver for Walmart Stores Inc.
Stevie is survived by his fiancé Leslie Jones of Chesapeake, his
mother Deborah Brown Shupe and husband James Shupe of
Boonsboro, MD, sister Maggie DeFreytas and husband Michael
DeFreytas of Keedysville, MD, two brothers Charles Smith and
William Edward Brooks, Jr both of Frederick, MD. He was
predeceased in death by his father Lake Charles Smith and
younger brother Robert Lee Smith.
A graveside funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 P. M.
Friday, April 21, 2023 in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Norfolk. The
family will receive friends also on Friday, April 21, 2023 from
10:00 A. M. to 1:00 P.M. at Oman Funeral Home and Crematory,
653 Cedar Rd. Chesapeake, Va. Online condolences may be

    I can’t believe your gone!!! You will be so greatly missed by so many!! I know you and Robbie are together again and prolly causing trouble because y’all Smith brothers…🤣 we’ve been friends for 42 years!! Your gone to soon old friend I’ll always remember our crazy times so many memories! Rest easy old friend give hugs to Robbie from me ❤️
