Mrs. Hilda Jean Kirby Chapman

Mrs. Hilda Jean Kirby Chapman, age 81 of Chase City, died Friday, May 26, 2023 in VCU/MCV Hospital, Richmond. She was a former production employee at Russell-Stover Candies in Clarksville, Craddock–Terry Shoes of Chase City, and Team Nurse, she was also the widow of Arvel Chapman.
Hilda is survived by four sons; Dennis Kirby of Chase City, Terry Chapman (Carol) of South Hill, Randall Chapman and Mike Chapman both of Union Level, three daughters; Norma Clary of Durham, NC, Patsy Baughan and Cynthia Reamey both of Chase City, a brother Paige Kirby of Norfolk, Va. twelve Grandchildren and 23 Great Grandchildren. She was predeceased by seven brothers; Gilbert, Grady, Leslie, Robert, Francis and William and two sisters; Irene Card and Elsie Seamster.
