  12. Condolence

I am very sorry to hear of Carolyn’s passing. I know Rehoboth UMC will miss her. When I was the pianist at Rehoboth, I met her, and she was very active in the church at that time. Carolyn had her share of sorrows in this life, but she carried on. She had much more to offer the church and her community. I send condolences to the family and her close friends. We never know when our time could come. All we can do is be ready when it does. With sincere regards, Richard

  13. We went years between seeing each other because of the distance and just life… but there were several times in my life when others turned their backs on me- she and Rodney were there and made sure I knew they always would be. As a child I loved how cool and hip she was, I loved that she also loved the beach, and I always loved knowing there was “another Carolyn Elmore.”
We are praying for the hurting hearts of our cousins and extended family. The Bible says life is like a vapor- here one moment and gone the next, but it sure is a shock and makes us realize that
“We have this moment to hold in our hands and to touch as it slips through our fingers like sand. Yesterday’s gone and tomorrow may never come…we have this moment today.”
Praying for God’s love and comfort to surround you.

  14. Words are not enough during this difficult time but I pray that you can feel the love of those around you. You all are in my heart and prayers. She is loved by many and will forever be missed. I truly am so very sorry for your loss.
