Obituary:

Mr. Edward “Eddie” Eugene Orman, age 64 of La Crosse, departed this life, Friday, July 14, 2023. He was born September 1, 1958 in Sullivan, Indiana.
He is survived by his wife Sherry C. Orman, two sons; Robert “Robbie” Orman (Meaghan), and Thomas “T C” Orman (Ashley) , two daughters; Savannah O’Conner and Lindsey Satterwhite (Michael) of La Crosse, eight grandchildren; Paynter and Paschal Satterwhite, Amber Critzer, Thomas, Mason, and Ava Orman, and Landon and Wyatt O’Connor, three sisters; Carolyn Vanderbeer (Charlie) , Judy Falls (John) and Teresa Thompson (Rick) , two brothers; Harold Orman, Jr. and Buddy Ward (Phyllis) and several nieces and nephews, a long time high school friend, Donald Campbell and hunting buddy, Barry Adams and fur babies ; Ariel and Aggie.
He was preceded in death by his parents Harold and Juanita Orman.
He was employed with United Parcel Service (UPS) out of their Keysville warehouse for over thirty-five years. He loved spending time with family and friends and an avid hunter and loved spending time outdoors.
A graveside funeral service will be conducted Saturday, July 29, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. in La Crosse Cemetery, La Crosse, VA. Memorial contributions may be made to Hunters for the Hungry, 1108 Sedalia School Rd., Big Island, VA 24526.

    I just heard if Eddie’s departure from this world, this evening. He was a mentor and a friend to me, as i started ath Ups at age 1, in 1995. . I will miss him, and I know he is hunting that prized Deer in God’s Heaven. God rest to you E.O..

  3. Orman Family, I am so sorry for your loss! Eddie was a long time friend through UPS. He delivered to us at AmeriGas for a long time. I enjoyed our conversations on his daily deliveries. Such a good person! He will me missed!
