Mr. Daniel Carson Wilson, Sr., age 95, of South Hill, died on Sunday March 10, 2024. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, the long time building inspector for the Town of South Hill and the owner and operator of Wilson’s Floor Shop. Mr. Wilson is survived by his wife, Thelma K. Wilson of South Hill; his six children: Karon Bailey and her husband David of Charlotte Courthouse, Danna Malone and her husband Ed of Lynchburg, Janice Braxton and her husband Ed of Townsville, NC, Daniel Carson Wilson, Jr. and his wife Vicky of Clarksville, Michael H. Wilson of Brodnax and Connie Hendrick and her husband Sherman of Brodnax; his brother, Bernard Wilson of Chase City and his many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren, including the 3rd and 4th generation of the Wilson family, Daniel Carson Wilson, lll and Daniel Carson Wilson, lV. A private graveside service will be held in Oakwood Cemetery, South Hill. Online condolences may be made through our website, www.crowderhitecrews.com.
