Mr. D.C. Keeter

Mr. D.C. Keeter, age 96, of Kenbridge, died on Saturday May 18, 2024 in his home. He was a long time employee of the former Fred Watkins Motor Company and a United States Army Veteran. D.C. is survived by his daughter, Lisa Johnson and her husband Mike of Julian, NC; his son, Timothy Keeter and his wife Cassie of Kenbridge; his three grandchildren: Jacob Keeter and his wife Vickie, Casey Keeter and Daniel Moser and his wife Evelyn and his two great-grandchildren: Clark Keeter and Addison Moser. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Wednesday May 22nd at 2:00 P.M. in Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home and Crematory. Private burial will take place in the Hite family cemetery. Loved D.C…..He was one of a kind,always the same no matter when or where I saw him..My Father -In-Law (Hunter Satterwhite) and D. C. worked together for many years at Watkins..I know Papa Hunter was there to greet his buddy..Praying for comfort and strength for all his loved ones..Heaven sure gained a good man..

Sorry to hear this he was very faithful to Mr. Watkins and his family.D C will always remain as a man wbo coulbe rough around the edges but had a heart of gold. I feel honored to have known him. He loved his family and always looked out for Mrs Hite as well his Mother in law.
My thoughts and prayers to DC’s family and friends. He was such a sweet man and loved his family and friends so much. We loved him right back! I will miss our phone calls and hearing his warm and loving voice on the line! He will be well and truly missed by all!
