Obituary:

Mrs. Tamara Thurston “Tammy” Kegley, also lovingly known as “Mammy” to many, died on Tuesday July 2, 2024 in her home. She was the long time floral manager for Winn Dixie and Food Lion in South Hill and was an avid volleyball player for the South Hill YMCA recreation league. Tammy is survived by her companion, Gary S. Claybaugh of Bracey; her daughter, Rebecca Bulluck of White Plains; her son, Ricky Kegley, ll of Richmond; her sister, Tina Buford of White Plains; her brother, Jerry Thurston of Fresno, California her six grandchildren; her loving extended family including two nieces: Monique Buford and Alicia Moore and her beloved pet dog, Daisey. A celebration of Tammy’s life will be held at a later date and will be announced on this website once scheduled. Online condolences may be made through our website, www.crowderhitecrews.com.   1. Becca & family, So very sorry to hear of Tammy’s passing. Although hadn’t seen her in a while, she was always the sweetest lady. Know she will be missed by many. Prayers of peace & comfort for you all.
