Mr. David Allen Mills, age 78, of South Hill died Saturday, September 14, 2024 at the Hunter Holmes McGuire V.A. Hospital. David was a precision tool craftsman and served his country in support of the Vietnam War effort. David was an avid hunter and fisherman. David is survived by his brothers; Ronald Earl Mills and Sylvia of South Hill and Thomas Mills and Cathy Stevens of Chattanooga, TN, his nephews Austin and Scott, niece Amanda and two great nephews Thomas and Daniel. A Celebration of Life service will be conducted on Saturday September 21st at 11:00 A.M. in Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home and Crematory with full American Legion Post 79 Military Honors. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the Mecklenburg Cancer Society in honor of David Mills at PO Box 311 Chase City, VA 23924.
