Megan Christine Hudson

08/07/1988 - 10/02/2024

Obituary:

Megan Christine Hudson was born on August 7, 1988, and lived in South Hill, Virginia, where she spent her life surrounded by family, friends, and had a deep appreciation for the arts and nature. She most recently resided in her hometown, where she pursued her passions with pride. Megan had a profound love for music, often found at concerts with friends and dedicated to mastering the guitar. She took great interest in learning the lyrics to her favorite songs, which was a testament to her unwavering enthusiasm for her favorite bands. She also enjoyed creating art in the form of paintings, collages and woodwork. From a young age, Megan found joy in working with her hands and helping others. She cherished the time spent assisting in her father's tobacco farm and warehouses, experiences that shaped her strong work ethic. Her compassionate nature extended to her beloved pets, especially her dogs, Oreo and John Deere, with whom she shared a special bond. Megan is predeceased by her grandparents Leonard and Florence Bender and Russell Hart Hudson. She is survived by her parents Glenn Price and Suzanne Hudson, her sister and brother in law Adrienne & James Davis, her nephews James Price and Theodore Hart Davis, and grandmother Catherine Ezelle Hudson. She is also remembered by aunts and uncles Morris & Elaine Aycock, Daniel Bender and Cindi Snypes, Elaine & David Trujillio, and Russell Wallace Hudson alongside many cousins, chosen family and dear friends who will forever hold her in their hearts. Megan will never be forgotten and will always be cherished by those who knew and loved her. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 8th 2024 from 1-2 p.m. followed by service at Ephesus Baptist Church in Smith Crossroad, VA. The family requests a private burial following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ephesus Baptist Church Cemetery Fund and Gibson Gives. "The Eleventh Hour" by August Burns Red. Here the strongest fall to their knees. A passion so powerful that walls crumble to their foundations. Here the strongest fall to their knees. The lost find their way back home." Online condolences may be made through our website, www.crowderhitecrews.com. Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the Hudson family.
