Condolences
John was a close friend of my father Richard, having met through their shared admiration for Glenn Miller’s music. and was best man at my parents wedding in 1961. I met him and his daughters in the early 1970s when they came to England for my grandparents’ Golden wedding anniversary celebrations. I remember John being a very joyous person. I know my father has many fond memories of their long friendship. My condolences to all the family.
