Obituary:

Mrs. Eleanor Rose "Nervie” King, age 82 of Brodnax died Monday, April 7, 2025 at her residence. She was a homemaker and the widow of Clyde Elmore King. Mrs. King is survived by two daughters; Rose Solano (Julio) of Summerville, SC and Delores K. Vaughan of South Hill, a sister Becky Toone (Howard) of South Hill , three grandchildren; Crawford Lawson, Jr., Ronnie King, Jr. and Christie V. King and four great grandchildren: Kayla and Hunter King, Channing and Caden Lawson and a special niece Brenda Palmore. She was predeceased by her parents Johnnie Melvin Temple and Virginia King “Gin” Temple, a son Ronnie King and a grandson William Carlton Vaughan, Jr.
A funeral service will be conducted Thursday, April 10, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. in Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home with interment in Crestview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service from 12:00 noon until the hour of service Memorial considerations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 22512 Gateway Center Dr., Clarksburg, MD 20871 Online condolences may be made through our website, www.crowderhitecrews.com.     Becky,I am so sorry for your loss…I can’t even begin to count the times that Nervie dropped us off and picked us up from the RecCenter…..I know all of you will miss her,but what a blessing,NO MORE pain or suffering,ever…..
